Earning cash in High on Life 2 can be a tough endeavor. Even if you're focusing on the main story as much as possible, those missions can take a significant time to complete. How to Earn Cash Quickly in High on Life 2

Money is surprisingly hard to come by in the world of High on Life 2. Even worse is the fact that the main story introduces you to cool, tantalizing upgrades that you likely won't be able to afford for a while. But don't fret, as there are a few methods to make this easier.

Below is a list of sources and methods to earn cash quickly in High on Life 2:

• Completing main story bounties: Arguably the most arduous method of them all, but one that is worth considering. Even if you only tackle the first two targets--Larry Pinkstock and Senator Muppy Doo--you'll get 3,000 pesos a pop, which is already enough to get your hands on a few upgrades. If you feel like you're stuck with other methods and you still haven't finished the main story, tackle a bounty or two. It'll take more time, but the reward is definitely worth the effort.
• Talk to the guy with the strange button in the parking lot: When you're in free roam in the main area outside your quarters, head over to the parking lot close to the mall to find an NPC with a strange button. He claims that you'll get 500 pesos just for pressing it, but that somebody out there will die if you do so. It's a bit of a moral choice, sure, but if you're short 500, this is a good way of getting it. Keep in mind that he will be present for a subsequent visit in the future, but pressing the button that time will cost you. If that happens to you, don't worry, as you can reverse it shortly afterwards.
• Complete skate racing courses: Also in the main area during free roam, to the right of where the carrier drops you in, you'll see a snail. Talk to him to take part in skate racing courses--these aren't just a fun way of testing your traversal skills, but each race has different rewards depending on your milestones, mainly based on the total time it took you to complete it. This method does require some effort and practice, but you'll get quite a bit of money in the process. Plus, it's quite fun.
• Place bets in the fight club: I may be breaking the first and second rule by telling you of the fight club in High on Life 2, but it's definitely an activity you shouldn't overlook. You'll come across this by speaking to a character inside the car mechanic. He will offer you to get involved in bloodsport betting, and after interacting with the giant creature to his side, you'll be taken to an arena where you can pick between two fighters. As with real-life betting, there's always a risk of losing, but you can tip the scale on your favor by using the traps scattered around the arena. You can usually bet on a couple of fights before the owner says they're done for the night, but make sure to return after another main mission.
• Keep an eye out for money crates: As you're exploring the world, you're likely to come across chest-looking objects that hold cosmetic items for your skateboard and other things. That being said, there are some different chests that are way smaller and have an eye poking out of them. Shiv them with your knife to get a few hundred pesos.

Best Upgrades to Get First in High on Life 2

As you make progress through High on Life 2, the main story will encourage you to get some upgrades that will be vital for future missions, such as the ability to double jump and air dash. That being said, there are a few additional upgrades that are worth pursuing.

From Jorb's Shop, which becomes available in the quarters as you progress through the main story, you should upgrade your health and your shield, as well as get the gun upgrades for Gus and Travis. Then, from the main shop at the mall, make sure to upgrade your health again. Keep in mind that prices vary substantially--in Jorb's Shop, upgrades are 1,500 pesos, while it'll cost you 3,000 to get the one in the mall.
